POST Philately once again offers us a diverse programme for September.

First up isPOST Luxembourg’s new crypto stamp on the theme of Greek mythology, featuring a modern Artemis in five colours, designed by Lisa Filzi.
This theme is a joint issue between five countries, each of which has chosen its own god or goddess. You can purchase this issue in paper form or use it to frank your mail, but you can alsoscan the QR codeNFT on the blockchain. Crypto stamps are becoming increasingly popular, so we encourage you to get yours!
A second stamp in a joint issue is also available. This is the embroidered ‘Dove of Peace’ stamp. This stamp is common to 10 international postal administrations and depicts the symbolic dove of peace. Unfortunately, this stamp is very relevant to the crises facing the world today.

In addition to joint issues, POST Luxembourg is participating in the SEPAC joint issue which this year focuses on architecture, and more specifically the architectural history of member countries. POST Philately has chosen theHôtel des Postes, located in Luxembourg City, as its motif. his building served as the headquarters of the Luxembourg postal service for over 100 years, until 2017. Since 2018, the Hôtel des Postes has been classified as a national monument and is located in a UNESCO protected area.
The building is in the French Neo-Renaissance style, combining modern construction technologies with traditional stone cladding from Luxembourg quarries. The majestic yet sober façade, with its harmonious proportions, is decorated with sculptural ornaments and figurative elements, designed by the famous Luxembourg sculptors Pierre Federspiel, Jean Mich, Claus Cito and J.-B. Wercollier.
Stamp Day 2025 will take place in Rodange, a village in the municipality of Pétange, whose philatelic circle is celebrating its 80th anniversary. For the design of the commemorative stamp for this day, they chose the imposing Rail Owl sculpture – an unusual owl – designed by artist Bettina Scholl-Sabbatini. The seven-metre-high owl, with its feathers made of steel profiles from the Rodange factory, offers a striking contrast between art and industry. The sculpture pays tribute to the local steel industry, which has played an important role in the development of the region for decades.

These beautiful stamps and many others are available in the POST Philately e-shop. – www.postphilately.lu. Do not hesitate to come and discover them!
