In order to continue providing you with a safe buying and selling environment, we are adapting our operations in line with new legal requirements relating to the fight against money laundering.
These measures aim to protect our users and ensure ever greater financial transparency. Consequently, it will no longer be possible to top up your balance without the amount being linked to a specific transaction.
In practical terms, what is changing?
For buyers
You will still be able to pay for your purchases on Delcampe by bank transfer if your account is in euros!
Bank transfers remain available. They will simply be automatically linked to a specific transaction, ensuring faster and clearer processing.
You simply need to enter the correct amount and transaction reference so that your payment reaches the seller immediately.
If there is an error in the reference or the amount, don’t worry: your bank transfer will be automatically returned to you, thus avoiding any confusion. It will no longer be credited to your balance.
You can also continue to pay easily:
- via PayPal
- via credit card and other payment options currently offered by Mangopay, which will be debited at the time of your purchase.
If you currently have a positive balance:
now is the perfect time to find a new collectable; the money available in your balance can, of course, still be used to buy items! If you prefer, you can also recover the amount you transferred to your balance within 13 months of the transaction by clicking the ‘withdraw’ button below it.
From 29/06/2026, it will no longer be possible to add money to your balance. The ‘add money’ links will be removed from the website on that date.
For sellers
You can continue to use your balance to pay for additional services such as:
- the highligting option
- subscriptions,
- Store Plus, the API, etc.
If your balance is sufficient, nothing changes: the amounts will be deducted as usual.
If this is not the case, we will simply ask you to top up the outstanding amount on the website.
We will ask you to link a credit card that can be charged if your balance is insufficient, so that you no longer have to worry about it.
