In response to requests from many sellers, and in collaboration with a number of them, we are now offering a more flexible system for setting the lower bids they wish to receive.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the sellers who took the time to advise our teams on this system, which we’re very proud of and which you’re going to love!
Some sellers don’t want to receive lower bids or lower bids with a small discount, while others would have liked to receive bids with a discount greater than 30%. Our new system allows everyone to set their own policy and enables buyers to avoid making bids that are automatically rejected.
For these reasons, sellers will have total autonomy at least for the first period of their sales and total permanent autonomy for all Store Plus members.
The Store Plus subscription, which offers a number of advantages to sellers (including the ability to modify all their items at once, the possibility of entering personal references, and the Easy Uploader for listing a large number of items at once, among others), gives sellers the chance to set all their sales periods exactly as they wish, at a very affordable monthly price. Don’t hesitate to visit the page dedicated to Store Plus to discover its many advantages!
In practical terms, as a buyer, you will now submit bids that sellers have agreed to receive.
How it works for you :
- If a seller chooses not to receive lower bids, the “Make a lower bid” button will not be visible on the item page.
- If an offer exceeds the percentage accepted by the seller, you will be prompted to review it.
We hope that this flexibility will save buyers and sellers time in their transactions.
