Since 1 September, you’ve been able to discover several improvements on Delcampe. Our aim is simple: to make the site clearer, more practical and more enjoyable to use, whether on a computer or a mobile phone.
Some features you’re familiar with have changed slightly in terms of their location or layout. Don’t worry: you’ll still be able to find them on Delcampe.
Here’s what’s changing.
1. A more user-friendly search bar
The advanced search is now directly integrated into the search bar.
So you no longer need to click on a separate link to access it.
When you type at least two characters into the search bar, Delcampe may suggest a new ‘advanced search’ option.
If you were used to searching for items in a specific category, this option is still available in the advanced search.
In short: the same features, all in one place to save you time.
2. A clearer messaging system and payment page
The way your messaging system and payment page work hasn’t changed.
We’ve simply revamped their layout to make them:
- clearer;
- easier to use;
- more user-friendly on mobile phones.
You’ll therefore find all the features and functions you’re used to, within a modernised interface.
3. Your watched items and favourites all in one place
When you click on ‘watched items’ or ‘favourites’, you’ll be taken to a new page that brings together your various favourites in a simplified layout that can be viewed on a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
Here you’ll be able to find, amongst other things:
- the items you’re watching;
- your favourite searches
If you’ve searched by category or by seller, this is where you’ll find them.
Everything is now grouped together in one place to make it easier for you to find what interests you.
Why these changes?
This update is the first step in Delcampe’s evolution.
Our aim is to offer you an ever more enjoyable and consistent experience, whether you’re browsing Delcampe on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
And this is just the beginning: further improvements will be rolled out gradually over the coming months.

It’s nice and commendable that you are making changes for the better. My interest is photos. Only buying, I don’t have time to sell. A lot of sellers misattribute what they are selling because they don’t know what they are selling. That’s why I have to look through a lot of offers every day and I don’t have that much time. Some sellers put the same thing a dozen or more times. If I wasn’t interested in it the first time, I never will. It doesn’t matter if they lower the price. My suggestion would be to put “first time on Delcampe” and that there is a search option for that. That would save me a lot of time and maybe I would buy more. Another thing should be abolished the offer limit at 30%. Some fools put too high a price. Leave it to the seller to approve the offer of a price without limitation, or not to allow it. There is nothing to be angry about if he approves the offer of a lower price. I have more complaints, but more on that another time. Greetings

How can I see items with bids?
Hello, You can view the seller’s nickname by sorting with “Username” using the sorting in the upper-right corner. It’s not possible to filter by items with bids.
These changes are fine for the buyer but they are much more inconvenient for the seller.
For example, before the changes you could see the order ready to send and adjust so that it is in alphabetical order.
When you clicked on an individual item it opened up that item in a new page allowing you to relist similar but still keep the main order page in alphabetical order.
Now, as it does not open up a new webpage, you have to hit the back button after any changes. this means multiple back buttons if I have relisted an item that has sold from the order. When I get back to the page of the order, it has ceased to be in alphabetical order so have to do this every time.

All the changes are good, but what’s missing is an iPhone app.
Now how about an even bigger improvement – eliminate platform fees for items under $10 (or some such amount). It would be a real change I am sure both sellers and buyers would appreciate. The improvements so far are only cosmetic since the end result is still an inflated price which puts off potential buyers.

Unfortunately, Delcampe needs these commission fees to ensure the marketplace’s long-term viability. We have infrastructure and staff costs… We are therefore unable to agree to this request, as it would force us to close the site.

just want to congratulate Delcampe for their improved listing of search results. I collect postage stamps, and being able to see all images for an auction in the listing is a great help. I love it! Keep up the good work.
