Simon Richards FRPSL is the new President of the Royal Philatelic Society London. Simon’s appointment as President was approved on 9 January by the Council of the Society following the untimely death on 25 December 2024 of Michael Roberts FRPSL, who had been elected President at the Annual General Meeting in June 2023.
Michael’s two years in office should have been completed at the AGM this year, at which time Simon, a Vice President of the Society since 2021, would have been elected President.
Simon will remain in office until the AGM in 2027.
