Shipping costs are the only fees allowed on Delcampe!
As Sébastien Delcampe announced, we have switched to a new way of working on Delcampe with commission fees no longer being paid by sellers. They are added to the price of the item seen by your buyers and therefore paid by them.
On Delcampe, there are two payment solutions, PayPal and Mangopay. Our Mangopay payment solution is completely free for both you and your customers.
The main complaint from buyers on Delcampe was about additional fees that were not clearly indicated and were hidden payment fees. And, as you probably know, these payment fees are illegal under the PSD2 law.
For these reasons, we have removed the handling fee section from both the sales conditions and the fee templates. The only fees that can now be charged to the buyer are shipping costs.
Since 2 April 2024, they are automatically deleted by the Delcampe system. The same applies to charges other than shipping costs indicated in your textual sales conditions and in your templates.
Any additional fee is in breach of the Terms and Conditions of use of the Delcampe website.
