Delcampe is adapting its website to make your payments easier… and cheaper!
To make it easier for you to buy and sell, 2024 will once again be a year of progress on Delcampe.net.
First of all, from Tuesday 16 January 2024, the Delcampe Pay solution will be renamed Mangopay. This is the name of the banking partner we have been working with for several years, which will make things more clear.
Next, some wonderful news for you: this payment method is becoming completely free for everyone! For all your purchases and sales, the Mangopay solution will be free of charge… and your account will be opened automatically!
Over the next few months, we will also be improving the PayPal integration on Delcampe. It will be more flexible, easier, and with different payment methods such as bank transfer, credit card…
Your transactions will go through either Paypal or Mangopay, which will allow you to have a secure virtual wallet on Delcampe.net.
Furthermore, from the same date of Tuesday 16 January, you will find all your transactions made on the website in the new “Payments” tab of your account. This virtual wallet will contain all the amounts paid and received, whether for transactions between members or payments for services with Delcampe.
Also note that on this date, if the balance of your Delcampe fees or that of your Delcampe Pay account is positive, the money will be automatically transferred to the new balance in the “Payments” tab. It can be used to pay for your purchases from sellers as well as for Delcampe services ( commission fees, options, subscriptions, etc.).
Our customer service is of course available via the website’s contact form for all your questions and requests for assistance. We wish you nice transactions on Delcampe.
Can I transfer funds from Delcampe Pay to Paypal?
Hello,
No, but you can make a transfer from Delcampe Pay to your bank account or use it on the Delcampe Website as usual! It’s just a change of name.

This news may be what I’ve been waiting to hear for some time now. Will any of these changes allow buyers in the United States to resume purchasing on Delcampe? I had been removed from active participation in Delcampe because of the rulings regarding the collection of state taxes in the U.S. Please advise. Thank you.
Hello,
Unfortunately, the problem in some US states is not linked to this change in operation but to legislation in those states.
We would love to have you back as a member and hope that one day this will be possible.

1.Does Mangopay mean, that first of all I must send some money to “My Mangopay account” and after that use it for payment ?
2. What is the fee for sending money from “My Mangopay account” back to my bank account ?
3. In which currency is Mangopay account and what rate it uses for conversion from my local currency ?
Hello,
Thank you for your very clear questions. I’ll try to give you as precise an answer as possible.
1. Yes, if you wish to pay by bank transfer. You can also link a credit card if you prefer a quicker solution.
2. There is no charge to the member for this transaction. They are taken care of by Delcampe.
3. Mangopay’s reference currency is the euro. There are no Mangopay conversion fees. You are only responsible for any fees charged by your bank.

I am little bit confused on how to use this MangoPay because I am ONLY a buyer. Some sellers ONLY accept bank transfers. What I used to do is, once they provide me the IBAN then use WISE to transfer money.
With this mangopay, what do I do now? Do I transfer money from WISE to seller’s MangoPay? or do I need to create my own MangoPay account and from my MangoPay account then transfer funds to seller’s account?
If I need to create my own MangoPay account, then what is the official website to do so?
Thanks.
Hello,
Your Mangopay account has been automatically opened and is free. You can link a credit card to it or make a transfer to this account and from there transfer the money to the seller.

Still waiting for an answer to my question posted January 16th, which read:
This news may be what I’ve been waiting to hear for some time now. Will any of these changes allow buyers in the United States to resume purchasing on Delcampe? I had been removed from active participation in Delcampe because of the rulings regarding the collection of state taxes in the U.S. Please advise. Thank you.
Hello,
I think I’ve answered that. I must have made a mistake and I apologise.
Unfortunately, the problem is linked to US legislation in certain states and changing the payment system is not a factor in this case.
Our concern is that we are unable to meet the legal requirements of these states and have therefore reluctantly had to close the accounts.
We will keep you informed and would be very happy to reopen the accounts of the members concerned.

Hello. I am in the USA and have 3 questions. I asked previously but did not get a reply and my inquiry seems to have simply disappeared so I will post again now:
1) Do I need to set up a log-in to access Mangopay (such as I log in to Paypal) / how do I access my Mangopay account and see transactions?
2) If a buyer pays me using Mangopay, can I transfer those funds to my bank via ACH transfer? Or is it by wire?
3) Can I opt out of accepting payments with Mangopay? It seems transfer of funds to a US bank incurs high fees from the bank (I have utilized only Paypal previously).
…. Thank you in advance for information 🙂
Hello,
1) Your Mangopay account is directly integrated into Delcampe. If you are connected to the site, you are connected to Mangopay.
2) It seems to me that it’s a bank transfer.
3) No, you can’t refuse Mangopay payments because it’s part of the terms and conditions. However, you can use the money received to pay for your purchases on the site.
Best regards

Are buyers in the USA state of Alaska able to buy on Delcampe again? Alaska has no state sales tax.
